Northern Ireland were now relying on victory against Spain in the Canary Islands if they had any chance of qualifying for Euro 08. Taking the squad, officials and press members was our specially chartered 180-seat Airbus 320. They lost 1-0 and therefore failed to qualify, but fought valiantly throughout the qualification campaign.

Stena were launching a new ship in Croatia and to commemorate this Plane Sense chartered for them a 50-seat Embraer 145 regional jet for a delegation from Sweden. We brought the group back the day after what turned out to be a spectacular night off the coast of Split.

Plane Sense Aviation chartered a 150-seat Boeing MD82 aircraft for the Northern Ireland football team and officials from Riga to Keflavik. They had lost 1-0 to Latvia in Riga and were on their way to a 2-1 defeat in Iceland. Euro 08 qualification was now well in the balance...

Lazio successfully qualified for the Champions League having played away in Bucharest. Plane Sense Aviation flew the squad from and back to Rome in 105-seat Fokker 100.

Lazio were back again in the UK for another pre-season friendly but this time it was to be against Southampton. We chartered a 49-seat Embraer 145 regional jet from their training camp in Austria but the aircraft had to operate into Bournemouth as the runway in Southampton is too short for jets!! After the match, we flew the squad back home to Rome.

We flew the London Philharmonic Orchestra from London to Madrid and back in a 130-seat Boeing 737 after their stunning performance in the Spanish capital. Special arrangements had to be made for their instruments - even the cellos were given their own seats!

The Northern Ireland football team flew back on our specially chartered 50-seat Canadair Regional Jet having played Denmark in a 0-0 draw for Euro 08 qualification.

West Ham Utd squad flew in a 46-seat ATR42 turbo-prop aircraft to Cardiff to play Liverpool in the FA Cup final.

Plane Sense Aviation flew the Lazio team from their training camp in Austria to Stansted in a 50-seat Saab 2000 jet-prop aircraft to play in a rare pre-season friendly against Ipswich Town. In order to spend as little time as possible in Ipswich, they wanted the aircraft to arrive just before the match and leave immediately afterwards!

Lazio football team flew in a 80-seat Avro regional jet in a return trip from Turin to Tampere in a pre-season friendly.
